The JN15-12kV Indoor 150mm Phase Spacing Earthing Switch produced by Timetric Electric consists of a bracket, grounding knife assembly, static contact, and sensor. The bracket is welded from thin steel plates. Its operating principle is that the operating mechanism drives the main shaft to rotate, utilizing the energy stored in the compression spring to achieve rapid opening and closing operations. When closing, the grounding knife and static contact are reliably contacted via the spring. The product features a compact structure, lightweight, flexible operation, easy installation, and strong dynamic thermal stability. Its opening and closing speed is unaffected by manual operation speed. When the operating mechanism closes the grounding switch, the torque acting as the main shaft overcomes the resistance torque, driving the crank arm to rotate in the closing direction. This causes the operating lever on the grounding knife to pass the dead point of the compression spring, releasing energy and rapidly closing the grounding switch. The grounding knife assembly's grounding knife is firmly and reliably contacted with the flange of the static contact via the compression spring. During the opening operation, the applied torque causes the main shaft to overcome the main torque and spring force, driving the crank arm to rotate in the opening direction. This causes the grounding knife compression spring to pass through the dead point, completing the energy storage process and preparing for the next closing. The grounding switch and closing speed are independent of the operator's operating speed.
