High voltage power transformer produced by Timetric Electric is a static electrical device used to convert a certain value of AC voltage (current) into another or several different values of voltage (current) with the same frequency. A static device with two or more windings, in order to transmit electrical energy, at the same frequency, converts the AC voltage and current of one system into the voltage and current of another system through electromagnetic induction, usually with different values of these currents and voltages.
The high voltage power transformer produced by Timetric Electric is a device used to convert a certain value of AC voltage (current) into another or several different values of voltage (current) with the same frequency. When AC is passed through the primary winding, an alternating magnetic flux is generated. The alternating magnetic flux induces an AC electromotive force in the secondary winding through the magnetic conduction of the iron core. The level of the secondary induced electromotive force is related to the number of turns of the primary and secondary windings, that is, the voltage is proportional to the number of turns. The main function is to transmit electric energy, so the rated capacity is its main parameter. The rated capacity is a conventional value that represents power. It is a characterization of the size of the transmitted electric energy, expressed in kVA or MVA. When the rated voltage is applied to the transformer, it is used to determine the rated current that does not exceed the temperature rise limit under specified conditions. The more energy-saving power transformer is the amorphous alloy core distribution transformer, whose biggest advantage is that the no-load loss value is extremely low. Whether the no-load loss value can be guaranteed in the end is the core issue to be considered in the entire design process. When arranging the product structure, in addition to considering that the amorphous alloy core itself is not affected by external forces, the characteristic parameters of the amorphous alloy must also be accurately and reasonably selected during calculation.

Timetric Electric high voltage power transformer use environment:
1. Temperature requirements: The operating temperature of the high-voltage transformer has a direct impact on its performance. Generally speaking, the ambient temperature of the transformer should be between -30°C and 40°C. Exceeding this range will affect the normal operation of the transformer, especially in cold or hot environments, the insulation materials and cooling system of the transformer may be affected, resulting in equipment damage or unstable operation. In addition, the temperature limit of the dry-type transformer should also be noted. The maximum allowable temperature of the transformer using F-class insulation material is 155°C, and the maximum allowable temperature of the transformer using H-class insulation material is 180°C.
2. Humidity requirements: The ambient humidity of the transformer is also an important factor. A high humidity environment can easily cause moisture on the surface and internal insulation materials of the equipment, thereby reducing the insulation performance and increasing the failure rate of the equipment. Therefore, the ambient humidity of the transformer should generally be controlled below 85%.
3. Altitude requirements: The altitude also affects the operation of the transformer. Generally speaking, when the altitude exceeds 1,000 meters, the insulation performance will decrease due to the decrease in air pressure, and the design and material selection of the transformer need to be adjusted accordingly to ensure its normal operation. 4. Air quality requirements: The ambient air quality of the transformer must also be good to avoid erosion and pollution of the equipment by harmful gases, dust, etc. Especially in industrial areas or places with severe pollution, corresponding protective measures should be taken to ensure the stable operation of the transformer.
5. Other environmental factors: The transformer should be installed in a location without obvious shaking or impact vibration, and there should be no gas and dust in the medium that is sufficient to corrode the metal and damage the insulation. In addition, the transformer must also be equipped with lightning protection, fire protection, anti-theft and other protective measures to protect the equipment and reduce the impact of external factors.
Power transformers are the main equipment for power transmission and distribution in power systems. Power transformers mainly reduce the high voltage of the power grid to a voltage of 6000 volts (V) or 380 volts (V) that can be directly used to supply power to electrical equipment.
If an overload or short circuit occurs inside the transformer, the insulating material or insulating oil will decompose, expand and even gasify due to high temperature or electric sparks, causing the internal pressure of the transformer to increase sharply, which may cause the transformer shell to explode, a large amount of insulating oil to spray out and burn, and the oil flow will further increase the risk of fire.
During operation, attention should be paid to fire and explosion prevention:
(1) Do not overload operation: Long-term overload operation will cause the coil to heat up, the insulation to gradually age, and cause a short circuit.
(2) Regularly check the quality of the insulating oil: The oil quality should be tested regularly, and unqualified oil should be replaced in time, or other measures should be taken.
(3) Prevent the transformer core insulation from aging and damage. Long-term heating of the core causes insulation aging.
(4) Prevent the insulation from being damaged due to careless maintenance. If scratches or damage are found, they should be handled in time.
(5) Ensure that the wires are in good contact. Poor contact will cause local overheating.
(6) Prevent lightning strikes, as the transformer may burn out due to insulation breakdown.
(7) Short-circuit protection: If a short circuit occurs in the transformer coil or load, the transformer may burn out if the protection system fails or the protection setting is too large. Therefore, reliable short-circuit protection should be installed.
(8) Good grounding protection.
(9) Ventilation and cooling: If the transformer coil wire is Class A insulation, its insulation is mainly paper and cotton yarn. The insulation life will be reduced by about half for every 8°C increase in temperature. The transformer operates at a normal temperature below 90°C and has a life of about 20 years. If the temperature rises to 105°C, the life is 7 years. When the transformer is in operation, good ventilation and cooling should be maintained.
