Timetric Electric's FN18 Gas-Blown Interrupter Indoor Load Switch is designed to connect and disconnect circuits under normal current conditions, operate uninterrupted under fault conditions, reduce current to below its fault closing current rating, and operate in conjunction with fuses.
FN18 Gas-Blown Interrupter Indoor Load Switch manufactured by Timetric Electric is a three-phase, high-voltage switchgear with a rated voltage of 24 kV and a rated frequency of 50 Hz. It is used to disconnect and connect load currents, close circuit currents for electrical appliances, unloaded transformers, and cable charging currents, and to close short-circuit currents. Equipped with a grounding switch, it can withstand short-circuit currents and is primarily used in urban distribution stations and industrial power equipment in three-phase ring networks or terminal power supply, providing short-circuit protection for control boxes. It is equipped with both manual and electric operating mechanisms to facilitate the three-way remote control requirements of power systems.
1. Gas Explosion (Current-Related)
· Whenever excessive overcurrent occurs, high temperatures are generated inside the arc chamber, causing a violent release of gas molecules.
2. Air Blow (Independently Controlled)
· Each time the NAL is activated, the upward movement of the piston compresses air within the hollow insulator cylinder. This compression process is mechanically coupled to the spindle.
· The compressed air is blown out through the discharge chamber, helping to interrupt low-load currents.
1. Line switches and circuit breakers in medium-voltage power grids
Interrupt loads, perform segmented operations, and isolate downstream equipment.
2. Industrial and commercial applications
3. FN18 Gas-Blown Interrupter Indoor Load Switch and protection of distribution transformers when used in conjunction with fuses (IEC 62271-105)
4. NAL switches with the following features:
1000 mechanical no-load operations
Up to 100 electrical operations at full rated current
5. Service conditions - Indoor environments, room air temperature between -40°C and 55°C
The standard NAL/F is suitable for normal operating conditions (Design Category 0)
The NAL-H/NALF-His is suitable for harsh operating environments (compliant with Design Category 2 in IEC 62271-304:2008-05)
Advantages ofFN18 Gas-Blown Interrupter Indoor Load Switch
1. Main Configurable Components
· Single or dual spring mechanism
· Auxiliary contacts for on/off and earthing switches
· Motor drive (shaft-mounted and front-mounted)
· Blocking and tripping coils
· Fuse holders with or without fuse tripping system (upper/lower mounting)
· Earthing switch (upper/lower mounting)
· Mechanical interlock
· Blown fuse indicator
2. FN18 Gas-Blown Interrupter Indoor Load Switch-fuse combinations are commonly used as line and transformer switches and offer a cost-effective alternative to circuit breakers.
Due to their excellent breaking performance and automatic fuse tripping system (IEC 62271-105), fuses are capable of interrupting a full range of overload and short-circuit currents.
Due to the extremely fast response time of current-limiting fuses, they can significantly reduce the expected current.
Can your company customize products according to my requirements?
Yes, we can customize products according to customer requirements. Generally speaking, customers only need to provide: disconnect switch model, voltage, current, use environment, etc.
What is your fastest delivery time?
Usually we will accept the customer's inquiry, communicate and confirm the specific parameters of the disconnector. The actual production time is determined according to the purchase quantity.
How is your after-sales service?
We support a 1-year warranty. The normal quotation does not include on-site after-sales service. Free online communication and guidance are available.
